I’ve been having this feeling recently that my desktop pc wasn’t working properly, but i didn’t have a way to prove it, but today i went on UserBenchmark to do some test because some games that i would get 160fps on, were now running at an unstable 30, these are the results from UserBenchmark:

UserBenchmarks: Game 9%, Desk 39%, Work 8%
CPU: Intel Core i5-7400 - 41.8%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660 - 19.1%
HDD: Toshiba P300 1TB - 49.6%
RAM: Crucial BLS8G4D240FSE.16FBD 1x8GB - 38.2%
MBD: Asus B150M-C/BR

I have no idea of how to fix this

Performance related issues that aren’t obviously due to a program hogging resources are almost always going to boil down to drivers. Most likely the video driver.

So go to Nvidia.com drivers download page and run the latest package for your card.

Another good thing to do any time something changes on your PC is to run Windows DISM and SFC (system file checker). These tools will identify and repair any corrupt system files, correct conflicts with file ownership, and generally clean up the operating system.

Open a command prompt and run DISM by entering

    DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

When complete run SFC by entering

    SFC /scannnow

    Reboot.

    Toshiba P300 1TB

I would run CrystalDiskMark/CrystalDiskInfo on it to see how its speed is performing as well as the SMART health.

As the othe rposts suggests, you really need a SSD and 16 gigs ram, u might consider buying one 16gig stick and retiring the single 8gig.

As for a cheap SSD, I would not. Go with a name brand from a reputable store ( online or building) Make sure the SSD you buy has migration/transfer software included/available.

Can’t really afford getting them right now, as i’ve said, these things aren’t very affordable in my country, but i’ll try to save some money towards it. Also, thx for pointing out that i should look for an SSD with migration/transfer software, i prob would not have paid attention to it, do you have any recommendation on SSD from a reputable store?
