I’ve been having this feeling recently that my desktop pc wasn’t working properly, but i didn’t have a way to prove it, but today i went on UserBenchmark to do some test because some games that i would get 160fps on, were now running at an unstable 30, these are the results from UserBenchmark:
UserBenchmarks: Game 9%, Desk 39%, Work 8%
CPU: Intel Core i5-7400 - 41.8%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660 - 19.1%
HDD: Toshiba P300 1TB - 49.6%
RAM: Crucial BLS8G4D240FSE.16FBD 1x8GB - 38.2%
MBD: Asus B150M-C/BR
I have no idea of how to fix this
Performance related issues that aren’t obviously due to a program hogging resources are almost always going to boil down to drivers. Most likely the video driver.
So go to Nvidia.com drivers download page and run the latest package for your card.
Another good thing to do any time something changes on your PC is to run Windows DISM and SFC (system file checker). These tools will identify and repair any corrupt system files, correct conflicts with file ownership, and generally clean up the operating system.
Open a command prompt and run DISM by entering
When complete run SFC by entering
Reboot.
