Too long didn’t read. What gpu and vram temp is “burning”? What process is using the gpu to make it burn?

My stupid monitor story: Built a new computer for a friend, but it wasn’t working, couldn’t get anything to display… Tried re-seating components, went and got a little pc speaker to hear beep codes since the motherboard didn’t have one built in, just to confirm if it was even posting… Etc…

Turns out the monitor was just off. It’s not my fault though! This fucking monitor has a blue light on the front only when it is OFF, and NO light when it is on! I had no idea the thing was off… It might have even been this same monitor, that stupid joystick looks familiar, but it was a few years back, so im not sure lol.

Without more info to go by, this is probably a scam… They would just take your money if they had access. Edit to add: It is very easy to spoof where email is coming from

Probably just ignore it - look up various extortion scams, they are very common.

In case you are compromised in some way, change passwords from a different computer and enable 2 factor authentication.

Run a malwarebytes scan

They aren’t zero days, they’ve been around for years. They are fine

Were compenents used or new? Was the machine initially good, or it hasn’t changed and was always stuttering?

Maybe a temperature issue - Get hwinfo (https://www.hwinfo.com/download/), find cpu, gpu and vram temps, both when idle and gaming. What are they?

In task manager, sort by cpu usage, hdd usage, and note the top few items and their %. What are they? Screenshots are fine.

Get malwarebytes (https://www.malwarebytes.com/) and run a scan. Did it find anything?

That should point us in the right direction hopefully

False positive, you can tell because no real AV’s flagged them
