Get into your router and throlle your speed to your device to a really slow speed. Call your extra device you have laying around and see how the image it. Also smear something clear over the camera lense. Like maybe plastic wrap or a zip lock bag. Or even a thin coat of Vaseline. I did this with my parole officer. It was a ziplock bag that I stretched.
