Nothing in the post mentions changing logins and passwords. If someone actually hacked you, he already has all your passwords. To factory reset a phone also requires to format the memory cards.
Posting on your Facebook posts doesn’t require anyone to hack you. The most likely thing is you posting something stupid and people telling you it is stupid. Hard to tell with you telling nothing about it.

When you restart the laptop, does the monitor show any image when the laptop is booting?
If not, try looking at BIOS if there is a setting for it. Port might be just bad, check the pins if they look good.
