I am looking to buy an All in One PC with touchscreen.
The requirements are just that, and having windows 11.
But I can literally only find 1 product that meets these simple requirements. Is the market for these just really dry or am I blind?
Thank you
- Do Microsoft still do that big Surface that goes on the desk rather than sitting like a conventional monitor/AIO? - https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/d/surface-studio-2-plus/8vlfqc3597k4?activetab=pivot:overviewtab
- Hp has some
- Lenovo has the ideacenter line which is full of these such as this.
- Windows 8 was designed for touchscreens, which is why so many of them were around at that time. Win10/11 is not a good touchscreen experience…not sure why you actually want that. - I suggested having a normal AIO with a wireless mouse and using the onscreen keyboard but the person in charge wants touchscreen 🤷♀️ we’ll pay the same and get much worse specs, won’t matter too much since they will only be used for light work

- What about a mini PC, that attaches onto the back of the monitor. ie on the VESA mount. - Maybe something like an Intel NUC? You can buy some fairly cheap barebones models.
- Seems like what you are looking for is an over sized slate tablet or just a pc inside a monitor. - Tablet formfactor are nice but not very upgradable and very easy to transport.
A PC built into a monitor has more power and more upgradable formfactor.
- If youre looking for a desktop, Ive never seen kne of those, might exist though. If you dont mind a laptop there are plenty of those… - You could also just get an AIO desktop and use one of those touchscreen laser usb thingies that clip to the side of the monitor…
- I am looking for something cheap with low specs as it will only be used very sporadically for some events, playing videos is the most demanding thing it needs to do - Why not just get a tablet? - There are also USB stick size mini PCs you just plug into the HDMI port.
