I upgraded a monitor to a 280hz monitor and am trying to make the colors match my secondary 144 hz monitor.

The colors on the 280hz seem very out of wack and so much brighter it hurts my eyes.

I cant find a good balance greys are too bright on one and too dark on the other. Browns are appearing red. And god the whites make it feel like im staring into the sun.

Monitors:

Asus VG248 144hz

Asus VG258QM 280hz

The 144hz seems so much clearer and higher quality image then the 280hz as well.

(Have tried display and hdmi for both same issues)

Do you have color profiles installed for your monitors? Having the right color profiles doesn’t magically fix the issue but it makes it slightly easier.

Every screen is different. You’ll just have to toy with it until you find something that’s close enough. If you want the screens to be exactly the same, then get two of the exact same screens. And no, there is no software that can do this better, you’ll just have to tinker until you find something that works.
