Hi everyone, I recently got a new phone, ( infinix note 30) and I’m facing a little annoying issue. As you know modern smartphones just requires your gentle touch on the screen but my touch screen seems to only register touches when I apply a bit of pressure. For example, it doesn’t sense my touch if I slowly ( I mean really slow) bring the top of my finger to the screen. While it may not seem like a big deal, sometimes it’s bothersome, especially when you wanna use the device fast or trying to reach the corners which makes it diffucult to apply pressure to your touches . I wanna know is it hardware or software related. By the way I checked the settings but couldnt find anything about screen sensitivity adjustment. Thanks in advance for your opinions!
Never heard of that mobile before but sounds like it’s a resistive touch screen one where you need to press down on it and not a capacitive touch screen that most mobiles use.
Yeah idk maybe just my device has this issue because of a defect or smth
Sounds to me like a calibration issue. Without delving deep into settings hidden from you, I’m not sure what you can do.
If you want to try doing that, look into secret dialer codes, that’ll get you closer
Thanks, will do.
Are you sure it’s a capacitive touchscreen?
Yes actually, because it is not that bad.
Hopefully the screen isn’t the older resistive touch instead of capacitive touch of modern screens
I also hope so)
I’m genuinely confused because that phone has a traditional capacitive touchscreen on it, and literally doesn’t even have the hardware necessary to detect pressure on the touch screen.
Actually it registers when you apply a little bit pressure, it just doest detect some touches that are so gentle or with tip of your fingers that like you just touch slightly. But my previous phone detects evey touch regardless of the pressure as long as you touch it.
