Yes you can change your router password and name but you probably need to reconnect everything to the new router since every wifi even the same name have different id to differentiate between router and not confuse the device

Let your phone discharge up to around 20% then charge it to 80-90% for the laptop either leave it with the battery or let it fully charge then remove the battery so your using main power.
