Is there a key command to do this (show/hide) ? I’m on Windows and don’t have an extended keyboard
I think there’s a visibility agent command for showing tracks with data within selection. It will hide everything else I think. Key commands can be assigned to it.
Also does it matter that my metering is set to +3db digital and yet my projects are set to +6db volume max (which is the minimum value?)
If I understand what you’re talking about correctly the number “+6” is the maximum amount of positive fader ‘travel’ above zero. So you can only increase the signal by 6dB using the fader. I believe the other number is +12, correct? So that’s all that that is. It really has nothing to do with metering.
Kye commands and preferences can be saved and you can locate them on your computer and that’s about as good as an “export”.
If I remember correctly I was the one who did the original feature request for Profiles years ago and my thinking back then was that there were so many settings that users might customize that it would make sense to consolidate them into one ‘profile’. That way instead of loading all one-by-one you could just switch the profile.
