AFAIK, the only way to use SteamOS not on a SteamDeck is with the hacky HoloISO/ChimeraOS repackagings. And AFAIK, they only support AMD GPUs, since that’s what’s in the SteamDeck and they’re just jacked up SteamDeck recovery images. Valve has confirmed that they’re still planning on releasing an image of SteamOS that is compatible with DIY PCs, but they have not said when to expect it.
