If you’re just wanting to have another screen and run it at 4k, for movies or whatever. fine.
But you won’t be able to run games at 4k for example, but doesn’t mean to say you can’t play games on the 4k monitor, you’ll just have to turn down the resolution to 1080p
But if you don’t play games or do any crazy stuff, then no, it shoudn’t hurt the general performance
