Very common scam. They’ll say they have recorded you doing something embarrassing and will leak it if you don’t send them money. They will also allow you your email address and “password” to try and scare you into thinking they’ve hacked you. The password they have will have been from one of the major password leaks that’s happened in the past.
Anything that uses that password shown on the email, change it. Then enable 2 factor authentication (2FA) where possible.
