Yes, I’m a grade A idiot.

So I lost my phone a year and a half ago while I was moving. I assumed it got thrown out in the trash by accident and gave up.

I was clearing out my freezer a few minutes ago and, no shit, there it was in the very back. I pulled it out. It’s thawing right now.

It was not frozen in ice or any moisture that I could tell. It is still in the case which is not waterproof.

Is there any chance whatsoever that I could salvage the data on there? How can I maximize that chance? TIA

Personally; I’d put it on top of the hot water heater (or someplace consistently warm but not hot) do not try charging it until it has had time to clear any condensation (like a week as previously stated)
