This night I was upgrading my pc, or at least trying to.
My pc is 8 years old and I decided to treat myself to a new cpu and gpu.
I bought a ryzen 7 5700X to replace my ryzen 3 1300X and a XFX speedster QICK308 radeon RX 7600.
The motherboard I place all this on is a b350 pc mate.
After replacing both parts my computer did turn on (fans started spinning and a led started flashing). The only thing is my monitors didn’t recieve an video input.
I placed my old cpu and gpu back but it still didn’t work. (It did turn on but no video)
My ez debug led for my cpu is on when the old parts are in there.
I would be really ashamed if I made a mistake since I work in a pc repair shop lmao, but please help me
I would check the pins when your putting it on your board. Make sure it’s going in all the way and see if that works first. If that doesn’t work maybe the board needed a bios update before you changed the cpu and that’s what caused the issue. Hope that helps
If the board needed a bios update is there anything I can still do sbout it?
