Disclaimer: I’ve got abusive parents. I understand parental controls to an extent but they try and censor literally everything, and my PC got reset, deleted the parental control app, and now im here

Anyways, Im in some support subreddits for people who are rasied by abusive parents, and Ex cult members (I am also an EX cult member.) What im asking is, if i were to factory reset my laptop (Win 11) and the app were re installed on my computer after the factory reset, would anything im searching now be visible to the app? Im using this on incognito chrome right now. I need a response as im lowkey at risk posting this lmao, deleting it sooon.

Also, what browsers if any for PC could straight up block this? It blocks websites and kinda broadcasts my search history to my parents when installed.

    incognito does nothing to stop those apps. it also depends on if it’s installed on your computer or is some sort of network traffic sniffing appliance that would be reading the packets sent through your network to see what sites your browser is taking you to.

    Stop watching strange porn in your parents house. It isn’t good for you.

    No most parent control apps don’t go in reverse however some give access to your history so you will need to clear that before it is done.

    Easy fix around parental blocks loaded on the computer is to run a VM then us a browser in your VM. This of course assumes they didn’t do something on the router level. Which you could get around through a VPN, TOR, and a few other ways.

    It will depend how the parental control is designed and implemented. It may report to the cloud so ANYTHING you do on the computer could be logged and reported.

    My dude am gonna give u what I did for my friend

    You might not be able to dodge the app easily if they gonna keep reinstalling

    U can try to search online specifically what does that app does and take counter measure based on what is doing

    My friend has a supper locked strict computer like he had to get his mom to unlock to watch a YouTube video I thought him how to install a keylogger and had him use stupid reason for his mom use the computer so he could capture the password He got the psw and would just bypass him self

    Now if is a network sniffer as pointed out yeah only by pass is using another network without the app installed
