U can try to search online specifically what does that app does and take counter measure based on what is doing

My friend has a supper locked strict computer like he had to get his mom to unlock to watch a YouTube video I thought him how to install a keylogger and had him use stupid reason for his mom use the computer so he could capture the password He got the psw and would just bypass him self

Now if is a network sniffer as pointed out yeah only by pass is using another network without the app installed

Break it however you see fit

It can be recovered but with all seriousness very few people in the world can do that and is a ridiculous effort to do it
