I’m not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but…

I made a song last year in Cubase 12 Pro with Komplete 13.

I’ve since upgraded to Cubase 13 Pro and Komplete 14.

Now all the Komplete Kontrol presets have been removed from the tracks, even though the instruments I was using are still installed.

Weirdly, this hasn’t happened to all the tracks I made around that time.

Is there a way to identify which presets were being used, or do I just have to try to figure it out?

Kontakt is directory-intolerant - that is, when you do a new install it moves the directories and you got to go find them in - I dunno, wherever NI decides where it wants them.

I still have a hard time locating all my user files. Search for .nki files. Look in the Common Files folder.

Kontakt may have the most paid sample libraries but it is a pain in the ass to work with and NI has made shit installs for the past couple revs.
