I have recently dropped my power bank onto the concrete and I haven’t really thought of it and continued using it. It worked perfectly fine but the outer casing just had some damage. Couple days later, it died and I tried charging it. Today I found out that it hadn’t charged one bit and I also noticed that it was making a high pitched hissing sound that was very noticeable but not very loud. This only happens when I plug it in to charge. Should I be worried? Thanks

The charging circuit may be shorted out (and the noise might be high load coil whine), which would be very dangerous. Dispose of it.

My UPS, Amazon branded, started making a loud high pitched noise yesterday, the homes power did not blink or anything, but it stopped when I pressed the power button and then turned it on again. Now I’m worried about it.
