Is there a certain way to delete league on a PC? She wants it to be removed but it just won’t budge.
I never had issues deleting a game before, like how I had to delete valorant off my laptop a year ago since it was getting too heavy.
I also tried to delete another app maybe we just have issues with deleting, but it’s not the case the other game just deleted when I tried.
Any advice?
Try downloading wiztree it should show you all the files on your pc and then you search for everything related to LoL. If your folder is in use restart and then delete them
This is just adding to my list of reasons not to play League.
Sorry for your suffering.
Tried it once because friends finally pushed me to it. Uninstalled after 1 round. Just the salt of my teammates alone would suffice to fully saturate the pacific ocean. Havent looked back since, and having 2 people play league in the same channel as others raises everyones bloodpressure by 5x
I met someone in an online community, they asked me to play league. We last 2 matches, cause I was asking him to explain basic concepts, like, when does the tower hit me vs when doesn’t it, why can’t I just push to the tower etc? (in other, actually fun lane games, you can often directly attack the turret without a handful of rulesets being explained first.
Instead of just telling me, they raged on me like they didn’t just wait for me to download the game for the first time. Uninstalled, blocked person. Don’t even remember their username at this point.
Try Revo uninstaller
Revo uninstaller is the way, if the uninstaller for LOL is still present, run the normal uninstall process and when it finds Regedit items, select all and delete.
If the uninstaller isn’t present you can always try hunter mode
revo uninstalled for sure. i work IT at a hospital and we use this.
You can try using command prompt. Here’s the steps.
To uninstall an application using the command prompt in Windows, you can use the “wmic” command. Here’s a basic example:
-
Open Command Prompt with administrative privileges. You can do this by right-clicking the Start button, selecting “Command Prompt (Admin)” or “Windows PowerShell (Admin).”
-
Use the following command to list all installed programs and find the exact name of the program you want to uninstall:
wmic product get name
-
Once you’ve identified the program, use the following command to uninstall it:
wmic product where name=“Program Name” uninstall
Replace “Program Name” with the actual name of the program as it appears in the list.
-
Press Enter and follow any on-screen prompts to complete the uninstallation.
Keep in mind that not all programs can be uninstalled using this method, and some may require specific uninstallation commands or utilities provided by the software itself.
I’ve tried both on cmd and PowerShell, but for some reason league or riot doesn’t show up on the list on both of those. But my mom’s Farmville is on the list. Is there another way?

Do you have xbox game pass? If so, the league client is part of that package and can’t be uninstalled.
This especially.
Try repairing the current install then uninstall it. After that, as others have recommended, Revo is the way to go.
There is a folder named riot games on the root of the drive it is installed, delete that folder and all gone. Easy and fast, from a lol player that had to uninstall it a lot of times :P
do as i say, unplug the hdd from the motherboard, take some minecraft tnt and place it near hdd, blow it… Learn to not play shitty games
Boot to safe mode , uninstall it from control panel then restart
