Thats it, literally every time I type an individual clown horn sound plays, I know it has to be a virus but what could it be exactly and how do I fix it.

Get system internals, then use autoruns to turn off any sus startup programs until the honk is gone on restart.

you say that it’s only happening in Opera GX, maybe you (or someone else) installed a “GX Mod”? I personally haven’t used GX in a while but I’d bet you could find the GX Mod settings if you search in the browser settings.
Do you have any friends who might be trying to prank you? Maybe people who play Spacestation 13 too much.

Can you open the volume mixer (just search how to open volume mixer and your version of windows).
Type and see what is making the sound.
If it’s a virus or malware search Malwarebytes and scan.
If it’s not, you might be able to find it in the Task Manager and stop it from starting up. Maybe it’s just a prank program someone put on there.
the volume mixer said the sound came from the general volume, malwarebytes said i was clean and my task manager has to much shit for me to go through it rn but ill check it thoroughly sometime

Its a gx mod in opera gx. Just uninstall it and you should be good to go. Friend uses it for some reason so i know its a gx mod

You can change the typing sound in operagx I suspect it got changed somehow but you can definitely change it back

This is a damn unicorn. Looks like you need to go under Settings>Devices>Typing then disable Play sounds as I type.

The last Opera GX update just turned on the keyboard typing sound again. Had it turned off previously but yesterday the typewriter/clicky sound was back.
If OP has installed a browser theme it’s possible it came bundled with a clown horn sound. Not sure which insane person would create such a theme, but I am not really surprised.
