Hey guys,
So in the past few days I’ve noticed a strange symptom of my PC. First of all, some specs:
- Windows 11
- Ryzen 5 3600
- RTX 3060TI
- 32gb DDR4 3600mhz
- Temps all fine
- Win11 runs on an M.2 SSD
Everything is up-to-date, no strange stuff installed, I usually run a very clean setup. No bloatware, literally nothing.
So as I said - Strange stuff. Whenever I minimize Chrome, and maximize it back up, sometimes it’s all broken. All tabs are suddenly “frozen”, but there’s also no content anymore. It’s all just blank frozen pages, I can’t close them, change anything, go on a new website, nothing. Just straight up all dead, but the tabs ARE there, there’s just nothing in them anymore. I then have to fully close Chrome (it works), and start it back up.
The other problem - My desktop generally feels… sluggish. I am used to delete stuff from my desktop rather often, and now it always takes a noticeable time until the icons are gone from my desktop. It’s maybe just a little less than a second, but it is extremely noticeable. It’s usually gone the same moment I press the delete key, but now it always lags behind.
Just generally less reactive than what I’m used to, yet my specs aren’t exactly BAD, it’s an averagely good system, nothing high end, nothing bad, enough to run literally everything that’s thrown at me.
Can someone help? Any info needed will quickly be provided!
Tabs. Since no one can guess what’s in the tabs you could have too many tabs or awful code running in said tabs. Time to try other browsers with said tabs.
Youtube, Reddit, sometimes Google or Amazon. I am a simple man, that’s all I have open most of the time. I am scared of people who hoard tabs, I never got more than 3-4 tabs running at once
Remember I am not going to be a one browser person. I have a few I can use. That said: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/142063?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop#zippy=%2Cuninstall-and-reinstall-chrome is next.
There are crash reports to turn on after you complete the steps there.
