No. Drives should be empty or minimally contain some Samsung provides software which isn’t going to take 280gb.
Might be worth formatting to see what results. Are you sure of the source? Could it be fake?
it was brand new, it didn’t have actual data on it,. it’s just the report from the Samsung magician reports that the lifetime data written on the drive is 280gb, meaning it had it written before being packed in its box
I misunderstood. You cleared it up with this comment. In that case it’s perfectly normal to have written that much data during testing.
