I mean, there’s no way it was used, box had stickers and all, but I’m just curious since I didn’t even write a single byte on it where the 280 GB written came from, ty.

    it was brand new, it didn’t have actual data on it,. it’s just the report from the Samsung magician reports that the lifetime data written on the drive is 280gb, meaning it had it written before being packed in its box

      I misunderstood. You cleared it up with this comment. In that case it’s perfectly normal to have written that much data during testing.
