I have windows on C disk but it’s getting worse and I want to reinstall windows on the new D drive, where I have put all of my files from the C disk on. Basically C disk only has windows and D disk has everything else.
Is it possible to install a fresh windows 10 but keep all of my files in that disk? I will remove the C disk completely and not use it anymore.

I’m going with no since the drive has to be altered to have boot information. Also, if you have no backups you may soon have no files.
