I’m will sell my gaming laptop, must I sign in again?
I am gonna sell my MSI gaming laptop. And I have factory reseted it already. And it tells me: “sign in to a microsoft account to proceed”. But since I’m gonna sell it, I don’t want to sign in again! Now could I sell it so when they get it they can just sign in with their microsoft account? Or do they get access to mine? Before I factory reseted it my microsoft account wasn’t on the laptop. I was only signed in as a local account with no password. So I don’t really see why it would appear on the laptop again. But just asking to be sure. For now I haven’t logged into any Microsoft account. I have just finished the factory reset. Thanks.
how did you wipe all your personal details, passwords, adult images and movies ?
your account and theirs is different
Were you using birlocker?
Factory reset puts it back to how it was when you first received it, before ever logging into it.
Your prior data should be gone from system and new user will never see it.
Make that $$.
You successfully did the factory reset, they will be ready to type in their MS account. I would recommend following these steps to bypass the MS account and making a local account account for the future customer, just so there is no reason to return it to you.
