Hi, first time posting in this subreddit, I’m actually driving nuts because I have a BSOD that I don’t know how to fix, my PC specs:

Asus Prime z690-p wifi D4 - updated to latest BIOS

Intel 13th i9 13900KF

GPU: MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming Trio

32 GB RAM (4X8 Sticks Temgroup (2) + Kingston (2) 3600mhz both same speed

2 Nvme M.2 one is 500gb Kingston SNVS500G for OS, and xpg gammix S70 Blade 2TB for games

2 monitors, Samsung 1080p and another LG 4K

So I’been having this BSOD at last back to 20 days ago, when suddenly while playing my screen (both) went black and PC became unresponsive, had to reset with physical button, happened again and decided to clean it up and check hardware, specially RAM, ran severam mem86 test and checkdsk but nothing returned an error, decided to fresh install Windows 10, for whatever reason I wasn’t able (some weird error keep happening, a windows install is somethig I have done several times so it was weird for me) so took it to techinician, at that point I had already wiped the nvme so he did a fresh windows install and tried some games and everything was fine, I used the PC for almost a week with no issues, but you know Windows Updates and everything else just auto updated. Yesterday I have start to get those BSDO again, but I noticed it almost only happens when trying to run a game in 4k, if I start a game trough steam it can start normally but when I change the resolution to 4k fullscreen I get a black screen sometimes with audio and my monitors both change to “no signal” tried several games and all of them had the same issue, if I try to run a game in other resolution it doesn’t instantly crash, sometimes it last a while when I change the resoultion then it blacks screen, others it just instantly crashes.

Anyway, seemed like a driver issue so I rolled back the screen adapter, and at first seemed to work but still got the BSOD, I used WinDbg and BlueScreenViewer and find out that apparently a Steam driver was the issue (steamstreamingmicrophone.sys) so I uninstalled it, tried to game and still BSOD, but the new minidump file started to show new driver issues, in all of them ntoskrnl.exe is there, also others have RzDev_008f.sys and Wdf01000.sys, tried to google but nothing really tells me what to do aside to update drivers or repair windows.

At this point I’m down to join linux if it’s not a hardware problem, been considering updating to Windows 11 but for what I have seen this problem is there too.

I upladed the minidumps if anoyone can take a look at them and tell me if theres something I can do to fix this issue.

Saw a post of someone having a similar issue on Windows 11, saying using another GPU solved the issue, but how do I actually make sure is a hardware issue?

If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

The most recent 4 of the 5 dumps shows Driver Verifier as enabled. Is that intentional?
