If you for no reason other than being a nerd want to try a really convoluted and fun way of doing it you can insert an EQ plugin of choice on only the left channel as an insert, on a stereo channel. Many people don’t know of that Cubase function :)
Open channel settings and add your inserts like normal. Then click the “routing” tab which is next to “inserts”. For the inserts you don’t want to be on both channels, set it to “mono” and in the routing editor click the arrow left or right to chose where the signal goes 👍
