- My device: iPhone 13 Pro and Laptop: Asus TUF Gaming F15 H506HM.
- Roughly 8 months ago, I gave some college people my phone and laptop at different times in my absence with the password trusting them to be trustworthy friends. Or it was even more so planned to get the devices from me by setting up diplomatic situations that I would end up giving them my devices. They had each the devices for roughly 60-90 min at different times each. Each device had a list of saved passwords on them.
- Since that time, my internet activity was being tracked through Google or iCloud for around two months atleast while I wasn’t aware of it (and also spying through laptop mic maybe when I used to be at home talking to my family). I was being indirectly mocked by these people on WhatsApp groups for my internet activity (iykyk). Suffered a lot of mental health issues and still have the PTSD.
- I have taken actions since then to take safeguard myself: Made a new Apple ID and Google account altogether. Changed passwords for all online accounts and PC 3-4 times in the past 8 months. Made a DFU recovery on my iPhone 2-3 times and fresh OS installation on my laptop 2-3 times. Turned on 2FA authentication for all accounts possible through Google authenticator.
- Here’s the kick: My family/ few friends were involved themselves behind my back with these people for making me recover from some emotionally abusive person. Now they being involved behind my back, they assumed my claims about my accounts being tapped or being spied on was my delusional thinking. Later on, I proved my claims. Now, noone seems to dare open their mouths. So my family has somewhat backed off from being involved or trusting these people blindly: they still wont confess if they were involved before though.
- HERE’s THE PROBLEM: Even then when I share a piece of information with my family/friends recently about these people or do something on my phone (play a certain song on Spotify or Google search), these people somehow react or drop cues based on this information. Because of this, my family is broken into pieces since months because of trust issues. Its an ugly situation.
- So my question is: Technology has advanced a lot. Is there any form of a very advanced, sophisticated hardware/chip/adapter that can be installed inside an iPhone 13 Pro to spy on mic, screen grabbing or internet activity of phone? Till this day, I feel scared while using my phone.

I will be honest a cursory review of your posts shows you could use some level of professional help. There is no spy device someone could have installed in 90 minutes to do any of this. Unless they installed software which is highly unlikely. Look up repair guides on the iphone 13 pro or the hardware apple sends out for repairs even to open the phone without breaking it requires at least 30 minutes or more if you have the specialized tools and equipment let alone how long it will then take to install this non existant hardware and re-assemble the device.
