Hi so i have 16 gb ram and i used to leave my page file automatically done by windows 11 but a while ago i was playing games rdr2 and wd2 to be exact and my games crashed because of a page file error
So i went and checked and my page file was 5gb i increased it to 12 and called it a day but a while after game crashed again same error
Now i set it to 16gb minimum and maximum and its been stable but my question is. is it normal for a pc to need this large page file to run stable with 16gb of physcial ram considering the only thing i open is the game and riva turner? Or do i have a proplem? Also should i increase it or leave it if the game no longer crashe?
Also i noticed increasing it reduced stuttering a little but i dont know if this is a placebo or actually true
I have 1 ssd and my page file is on it
