I’ve recently reinstalled windows on a relatively old msi laptop (System Model - GE72MVR 7RG)I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to diagnose why my cpu usage seems unreasonably high for the current workload. Not sure if i need a repaste or something?

    Thanks for the screenshots. How long ago did you reinstall windows? Usually when I do a fresh install it pegs the cpu for about 4 hours of usage while it does all the fun… windows-y stuff like updates and indexing. Although that screenshot shows task manager taking a fair amount of resources.
