I was charging my phone (iPhone XR, i have whatever the most current iOS is) through usb to my work computer. I was prompted if I wanted to allow photos on the computer, to which i said don’t allow.

When doing something like this, is there still data transferring between the devices? Hypothetically if my employer wanted to, could they see what was on my phone? If so, is it the sort of thing where they can see it only when plugged in? Or would it still be visible after unplugging? Didn’t do anything inappropriate while charging, but have plenty of pictures and texts on my phone that are way beyond inappropriate
