Hello guys. So I often play games on my smartphone (android, with last OS and security upgrade 4 years ago) where you have to play ads in order to earn in-game currency.

Is it safe to play ads? Also, sometime, by mistake, I often end up clicking the ads and I get redirected to the website, though nothing downloads. Is it okay?

    It’s not OK. If I had to see an Ad while I was playing a game I would immediately uninstall that game and never look at it again. You might think nothing downloads, but you could be wrong. Tracking software could be installed so they can sell your internet habits for $$.

    But I wouldn’t do that because of a security reason, I just don’t accept that Ads should be accepted so I do everything I can to remove them from my life.

      Also, not relevant to this thread, but is iOS really more secure than Android? Cuz if it is, I might consider buying iphone

        After all the news about iCloud being hacked? There’s only one reason to switch to iPhone and that’s the AirTag.

        But it’s not enough for me to switch.
