I have recently been playing the OG Fortnite season on my PS5. For the first week I was fine playing all I could. About a week ago, I randomly got kicked out of a game. Perfect internet. It kept happening. So, I restarted Fortnite then the PlayStation once it kept happening. It kept happening still. It continued to happen for the whole week. I’ve done everything I can think of. I’ve restarted the router and the Wifi connector multiple times, moved my connector so that it is wired the PlayStation, and even flipped my PlayStation horizontal. The weirdest thing is that throughout all of this, my wifi connector and PlayStation both have perfect Internet connection despite me still being kicked out every game. Does anyone know anything else I can try?

Troubleshooting is all about removing possibilities. Plug your PS5 in physically to remove the Wifi as the culprit. Move to a friends house to remove your internet connection as the culprit.

Obviously you have a router . Playing on wifi os not ideal but it can be done. Whom else is on wifi when you’re playing , and are they watching movies or gaming? How far away are you from the router? Check the Traffic on your router for unknown devices?
