So I’ve broken my laptop, which I’ve only had since Easter.
Screen assembly is fucked and the hinges for the lid are fucked. But the motherboard and components are all perfectly fine.
So how do I connect my laptop to a monitor. Is it as simple as just plugging it in, and it’ll show up? Or do I have to do something else.

Most of the time it’ll just show up
If it doesn’t just login to your computer and hit Windows + P a few times, that’ll cycle through the different ways the screen gets projected.
