Hello all,

Not really sure if this is the place to post, but I recently had to RMA + replace one of my two G2422HS monitors due to horizontal lines all across the screen. Now, the other one is doing the same issue, only intermittently.

Sometimes power cycling or tilting the monitor back/forth fixes it for a bit, longest is like a few days. I’m not even sure me manipulating it is actually fixing it or if it’s random. Supposedly it may be a panel connector issue from my Googling.

I am nervous that if I RMA it and Dell can’t reproduce the issue (gets bumped into place in shipping, etc.), I’ll get charged. This is my first time having to make warranty claims on monitors, so maybe I’m overthinking it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried a new/different display cable?

Besides that weird graphical issues are usually one of two things, either a dying monitor or a dying graphics card. Start with reinstalling your graphics card drivers and seeing if that fixes it.
