Ive been getting ddosed for the last three days and I cant figure out how to stop it, Its coming from: 2001:438:0:b03e::d and its not stopping, no clue how to block it, my internet provider will not change my ip and their support is a automated response bot, im using shaw.

    Usually residential addresses are given a dynamic IP address. Have you tried refreshing your IP by switching your router off and on again? Either way, you might as well have your router off anyway.

    If that doesn’t work, then all you can do is get your ISP to change your IP address. If they do nothing, you can threaten to change providers.

      The router doesnt control the IP, the modem does. For residential OP would need to power cycle his modem to have the potential to get a new IP, and even then its dependent on how long the dhcp lease is.

        If you’re modem is in bridge mode you can typically just change the mac address of your router’s wan port. That’s what I do if I need a new ip for whatever reason.
