    You have your timeline set to something other than bars and beats.

    Switch it back by pressing “.” (Full stop key on main keyboard)

      I did have it set to “bars and beats” when pressing F2… however, it must have been a glitch because pressing “.” switched to “seconds” and then pressing it again switched back to “bars and beats”, and now my snap to grid is fixed! So thank you!! :-)

        I have it doing that all the time, too. Like, both settings in the transport are set to bars, while the timeline and the grid are in seconds… sometimes Cubase’s just weird, haha.
