me and my best friend have had trouble facetiming/calling for over a year now and nothing will work. i moved about 2 hours away from her 2 years ago which was hard enough but a couple months after moving facetime stopped working. when i would call her she wouldn’t get it and vice versa. sometimes the call would go through but it would hang up immediately or one of us couldn’t hear or see the other. a couple of times we heard a weird noise like some monster on the phone with us which kinda creeped us out like we’ve been through it all tryna call eachother. we both have iphones so usually we’d facetime but after it stopped working we tried EVERYTHING. google meets, zoom, duo, instagram (call and live), snapchat, even omegle (rip) every random facetiming app you name it we’ve probably tried it.

for some odd reason none of this works. i’ve even tried calling from my moms phone and stuff but still the call won’t go through. there was one week in the summer where it worked like totally normal but then one day it stopped again. every once in a while if we’re lucky it will work but very rarely. im thinking it might be a location problem maybe? we used to live close but then i moved 2 hours north ish (still in the same state) kinda in the mountain area and she lives by the beach so maybe there’s just no fcking service in the middle of nowhere where i live?? like i seriously have no clue but you don’t even know how frustrating and upsetting it is to not be able to facetime your best friend.

we’re just 2 teenage girls who need to talk to eachother but it’s literally impossible. i swear the only plausible explanation must be that the universe hates us and wants to punish us for some reason like i seriously have no clue. this is my first time using reddit so idrk if in doing this right but please please pleaseeeee if you have any idea or solution or even other facetime like services please lmk
