So i have this pc that wont turn on when i press the power button, so i decide to test my psu by jump starting it with a paper clip. The fan on the psu, Led, and water pump all work, so i decide to try to bypass the power button by putting a screwdriver next to the two pins on the power switch but nothing would turn on. The 24 pin is connected and some of the lights on my motherboard would turn on. Im using a corsair cx750m and a Asus ROG V Extreme motherboard. Is this a motherboard issue? Power Switch issue? Or is there something else i should be worried about

sounds like a motherboard issue, since the PSU works and shorting the power button pins doesn’t start it.
