So I have a Huawei Windows 11 Laptop, which I got for Christmas about 2 years ago. Today I got a notification from Fortnite ( don’t laugh ) that my driver is outdated and I thought I had to install a new one from AMD because my cpu is from AMD but my driver is actually NVIDIA. It ducked up my Sound, can’t hear nothing. We tried uninstalling. Didn’t work. We tried just changing the Audio system and did a problem check from Windows. Didn’t help. My dad tried fixing it , he updated the Laptop. I thought it was fine after , it looked fine . I didn’t touch nothing. My dad did some more stuff. Now it apparently it’s for the fucking trash, it’s cooked whatever you call it. Someone please Help me here. What should I do???

Never, ever update your laptop drivers with software unless it’s from the original hardware manufacturer’s website. No Nvidia updating or soundboard drivers from other than the OEM website. Most likely way to handle the drivers is to uninstall the updated drivers then immediately use the OEM software/drivers and re-install them then re-boot the device. If it asks you about installing older drivers, just yes it to death. Other than that, a restore point or clean install from the restore option on the boot screen should fix it if all else fails.
