Figuratively. If they’re not going to properly sanitize it of malware, then it’s “hot” as in, “dangerously infected”. I would treat it as such and do nothing at all with the machine. I would go so far as to avoid the network to which it is connected.

Based on all the comments it seems like you have users who are A) incredibly ill-informed, and B) amazingly confident. This is a terrible combination. Recommend that they take the laptop to a reputable shop and let them deal with it. I would not, for even a moment, put my hands on the machine. I would not use it, even for a moment. That machine is burned as far as I’m concerned, and unfit for use.
Contact GoDaddy account services/support. They can help you with this. There’s no guarantee that any answer here will be accurate or up to date, as this is not GoDaddy support.

Right-click folder B> properties > record size. Add them together. That’s an awfully specific use case for a piece of software. Or are you actually trying to compare the two folders in some way?

suddenly I could hear people in the background on my phone for about 5 seconds.
Amazon has these video feeds of influencers(?) talking about and advertising(?) products. For some reason. It sounds like you inadvertently started one of those video feeds.
Do not use an ISP email account. If she’s dedicated to privacy, the select a paid email provider and use that. I quite like FastMail and have been using them for years, for example, but both Google and Microsoft offer paid accounts.
You do not want ISP email, because if you change your ISP then you lose your email account. This is a terrible idea. Otherwise, I would try your local chamber of commerce. ISPs generally need to work with local governments to authorize them to provide services. Locate the ISPs that are available in that town, then contact each and determine if they meet the requirements.
Good luck finding a small ISP in a major area.
