I am editing before posting and putting this first… Go to Start, settings, Then “Bluetooth & Devices” click that and make sure BT is enabled. (Simplest first!!!)
Also, if had bluetooth before, then the hardware should be there. Assuming this is a Windows machine, go to “Settings”, “Windows Update” Or “Update and security” (depending on version). Check for updates and go ahead and install any needed updates.
These will be security updates and might have the needed drivers with them.
If not, on the same update screen look for “View optional updates” and click on it. Look for “driver updates” and click on the > next to it to expand. Either install all, or look for any related to wireless or blueTooth and install.
After that, would check manufacture site. Also some models, if wifi is disabled, it will also disable bluetooth.
