im actually surprised this monitor doesnt have usb ports so you could plug the speaker entirely into the monitor.
so you just plug the speaker into a adapter brick or your console.
yes the monitor has an audio out jack you can plug into which it gets from the HDMI. It’s made for you to get your own speakers or headphones to use with it or your system.
I have a PC and yes like one guy said you could plug your audio right into the PC but you can take it from the monitor too if you want the audio to be dependent on the monitor input (in your case a console)
