An easier option would be to use a USB WiFi adapter to add WiFi to your laptop.

Failing that, it’s possible to tether an iPhone to a PC using a USB cable. What I don’t know is whether the iPhone will stay connected to your WiFi and use that as the internet connection it provides to the laptop.
