For me the annoyance is they change everything from each new OS. And for troubleshooting you are more than ever led to settings, even when you go through control panel.

Try booting in safe mode and check for corrupted drivers or other software which can cause it.

Yes it’s possible, be mindful especially on androids where the phone and battery can be extremely warm and it shut downs the hotspot.

And be careful of having enough data especially if you’re going to watch movies or tv-series or wnlot of YT for example.
