About a month ago I got so sick of Imgur that I decided to use another image host website to post my mahjong screenshots: Imagevenue. The post was automatically deleted “on account of violating reddit’s content policy” and immediately after that I got a full-blown IP ban - not just a warning or a temporary one, no, the nuclear punishment right away, despite never having been suspended even once in my ~10 years of reddit.

I made a dozen alts since then to ask for help here and there, since my appeals are either ignored or automatically rejected. r/help redirected me to here. I am desperate guys, what can I do at this point? Why does reddit hate Imagevenue so much? Is this some conspiracy to force Imgur on us?

If you don’t believe me, try posting a comment here with an Imagevenue direct link, and you’ll see it will be invisible to any other account.

Why would users of r/help redirect you here? Seems weird to me as it’s not a tech issue but a reddit issue. If r/help can’t help, maybe r/reddithelp will have people knowledgeable enough to know the reason?
