Fathom is an all-in-one client for your Jellyfin server: movies, shows, music, and Live TV, plus most of the server dashboard, Seerr requests, internet radio, and an ad-free YouTube client, all through one mpv-based player. It’s free and open source (AGPL-3.0), and runs on Linux (AppImage or Nix), Windows, and Android phones and tablets, with Android Auto and experimental Android TV.
What’s new in 0.13.0
- Watchlist. A “want to watch” list, separate from Favorites, that syncs across your devices through your Jellyfin account.
- Every kind of subtitle. Blu-ray and DVD picture subtitles (PGS, VobSub) now display, subtitle files stored beside the video show up, and tracks are named properly (English (Forced, SRT) rather than “en”).
- Search Subtitles Online. Finds subtitles through the provider on your Jellyfin server, such as the OpenSubtitles plugin, and adds the one you pick straight to the video.
- Ready for Jellyfin 12. Fathom uses the routes Jellyfin 12 documents in place of older ones it dropped, and still works with older servers.
- Server backups and a full user editor. Create and restore server backups, and edit users with everything the web dashboard offers, from access schedules to allowed tags.
- Continue Watching that follows what you watch. One card per show, ordered by what you watched last, with new episodes of shows you’re caught up on near the front.
- And more: a Movie Night Wheel to settle what to watch, a sleep timer on every player, multi-select, extras on detail pages, ReplayGain volume levelling, YouTube chapters like YouTube shows them, foldable-phone layouts, and a Windows installer.
