I own a samsung a12 phone and have been using qlink wireless for data and talk and text since it’s free for me. Now since I have the limited data plan, I use youtube premium to download videos so I can watch stuff on the go without needing to use data. Just very recently, when I looked at my downloaded videos, they were unavailable. I thought that was really weird and I found out that I have been locked into restricted mode by the administrator. This only happened when I turned on data. I’ve searched how to disable this and I was able to find one solution. I switched my private dns server to “dns.google”. That did the trick and now I’m able to go on YouTube without restricted mode being locked on.

Is there anything to worry about when being in “dns.google”?
