GPU: GTX 1650 Max Q-Design
CPU: Intel Core i5 11400H
When i first installed valorant it shows around 200 fps, as time goes on its suddenly only getting 120 fps and reaches to 90 fps. I lowered my graphics, made my gameusersettings all to 0, used performance boosting apps and nothing have worked. I thought that its because of some bloatware that made valorant low fps, but when i uninstalled unwanted apps and bloatware, its still the same problem low fps and cant reached 200fps. I installed MSI Afterburner and overclocked my gpu nothing happened basically, I installed QuickCPU and parkcontrol to optimize my cpu for gaming since valorant’s a CPU based game, still no changes happened whatsoever. GPU is always 20% below and CPU is 78-60% and temp is 80-75 degrees celcius.
I have already tried, reinstalling driver, undervolting cpu, overclocking gpu, but not reinstalling windows. Does reinstalling windows usually fix these kinds of issues?
Are there any possible fixes i can do that can actually help and resolve this problem?
It sounds like your laptop is thermal throttling… Maybe consider getting one of those laptop cooling stands? It looks like it’s doing exactly as it should be, to prevent damage to the computer.
